L4D 2 Once again Gets Refused Classification

The Classification Review Board met yesterday on 22 October 2009 to consider the re-application for L4D2 and unfortunately the Review Board has unanimously determined that the computer game Left 4 Dead 2 is classified RC due to extreme violence.
Looks like Australia will be stuck with an edited version of Left 4 Dead 2 indefinitely.

LEFT 4 DEAD 2 finally gets classified

Looks like the OFLC have bowed to the immense internet pressure on them regarding Valve Software’s incoming Zombie frag fest, L4D2 with the game achieving a MA 15+ rating weeks before the game was to be re-reviewed.

Valve Appeals L4D 2 Ban

Valve announced today it has appealed the Australian OFLC ruling of Left 4 Dead 2, hopefully they manage to convince the archaic OFLC to rate the highly anticipated Zombie Co-Op FPS.

Doug Lombardi responds to the Aussie L4D2 ban

“We were surprised to hear of this news yesterday,” the executive informed us. “Obviously, everyone at Valve is pretty bummed.”

L4D 2 Banned In Australia: Left for Dead

Update:Because Australia has no R18+classification for games, Left 4 Dead 2 looks set to be banned in its current form.  Who says Aussies are the backward nation. RC classification simply means  Refused Classification.
