Here is another impressive Half Life inspired fan video, initially looking to be part of some sort of viral marketing campaign for HL2 Episode 3, Doug Lombardi has confirmed the “What Is In The Box” video was made by fans.:

Two of the people involved, Tim Smit and Steven Roeters, recently won a film competition landing them a meet-and-greet with Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters. In an article from their college campus paper following the competition, the pair mentioned they were hard at work on a film titled What’s In the Box? So, unless they forgot to mention Valve contracted them for a viral marketing ad, this one remains labeled as an homage of sorts. Source

Here is t3rribl3on3′s new HL2DM video! Bringing back the magic that is Half Life 2 Deathmatch. The maps and gameplay elements highlighted bring back that nostalgic feeling and make me want to jump right into the game now.

Mr Newell, if you could please update this game sometime in the near future that would be greatly appreciated. Steam needs THE premier Deathmatch game!

Shunnyboy in: Hunger For More

Shunnyboy sent me his new frag video link a couple of nights ago and it is a very impressive showpiece of Half Life 2 Deathmatch mastery. Probably one of the best frag vids I have seen in a long time. A lot of thought has gone into the creation and the production editing and concept is fantastic. Great Work Shunnyboy!
